Intimate partner violence is associated with a six-times higher risk of developing a substance use disorder—yet most training programs for behavioral health and recovery support professionals don't address this intersection. This interactive workshop closes that gap by introducing the evidence-supported Substance Use Coercion ECHO Toolkit, a free, cross-sector curriculum designed to build provider capacity and strengthen collaboration between domestic violence and substance use services. Participants will explore how to identify substance use coercion, apply practical tools in their direct practice, and access resources to support survivors and their families in recovery-oriented and community-based settings.
